Being a Dad myself, I know family moments are fleeting. I love capturing your family just as you are, with all the quirks and smirks that go along with being a parent or a kid. My purpose is to take a little slice of time to look back on and smile.

On Location: We’ll decide on the best place to make some photos. If you had some ideas, awesome, if not here are some great places I like to go https://misterberndt.com/photo-locations
You get rights for all the images. You will get the high resolution originals of all of your photos to use however you would like. If you would like help putting your images in a book, or being printed, I’d be happy to help. I will deliver 30-50 photos to you in an online gallery that you can share with friends and family and they can also download the photos from the site.

Let’s have fun together.
My goal is to document your family, being your family. Our session together is the fun part, the kids can play and have a good time, and I’m there to document them, and your family at their best. Since I have kids myself, I know what it takes to make sure everyone is having a good time, and you get exactly the shots you want. If you have any specific shots you would like, we can be sure to cover them.
Your photos will be finished in 2-3 weeks and delivered in an online gallery and you are free to use them as you would like

How many photos do I get during my session?
In a typical 30 minute session, I deliver between 30-70 edited photos. I don't do a minimum or maximum. I deliver all the good photos I take during the session and deliver all of them to you. They are all included in your session and do not cost extra to purchase. Every photo in your gallery is yours.

How long does a typical photo session last?
My family sessions are between 15-45 minutes, depending on what you're interested in getting. 15 minute sessions are quick, and best suited for a family with older children who are more familiar with what's happening. 30 minute sessions are my most common session, with families ranging all ages. 45 minute sessions are typically multi families, when numerous families are getting their photo taken together.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I deliver the photos in an online gallery. You have full printing rights for all the photos.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
What time is best to take photos?
First, the best time is when your family is at their best. Whether they are morning people, or are better in the afternoon or evening, planning the best time for them is key. The best light for photos is within a 1.5 hours of sunrise or sunset. I know that time doesn't always matchup with the first. That's why I'm ready to take photos in all lighting situations and make them look amazing.
